TigerText Launches, Revolutionizing the Way People Send and Receive Text Messages

Application Allows Users to Control How Long Sent Text Messages Live on Receivers Phones

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--X Sigma Partners, LLC announced today that its revolutionary mobile application TigerText is now available for sale in Apple’s App Store.

“TigerText will completely change the way people think about electronic communication”

TigerText’s patent-pending technology allows users to send text messages that delete off of both the sender’s and receiver’s phone after a set period of time. Once a sender selects the text lifespan, expired text messages not only disappear from the phones, but are not stored on any server. They cannot be retrieved once expired; they are not legally discoverable; it is as if the messages never existed.

“TigerText will completely change the way people think about electronic communication,” said founder Jeffrey Evans. “For the first time, you have complete control over what happens to your texts after you hit the send button. It brings safety and peace of mind to anyone who sends messages that are intended to remain private.”

TigerText’s user interface has been designed for ease of use and perfectly mimics the experience of regular texting via iPhone. TigerText versions for the Blackberry and Android operating systems will be available in weeks.

TigerText users select the amount of time that a message will exist – from 1 minute up to 30 days after receipt – after which the message will disappear forever. The sender can also choose other options that do not exist with current texting technology such as deleting the history of the conversation or making a text message disappear within a minute after a recipient opens the message.

Evans says he is confident users will rapidly adopt this new technology, “I can’t think of anyone who would not want this protection. It is not about hiding what you are doing or trying to be deceptive. It is about protecting your privacy. In today’s fast paced world, everyone is guilty of running at the thumb at some point in time. No one would want every text they send to live forever. Business texts are safe from leaks or corporate spying; personal messages are kept private; embarrassing texts simply disappear. I read stories every day where texts accidentally end up in the wrong hands or are entered into evidence in a court case. The issue of government search and seizure of texts is becoming the hot-button privacy issue of the day. TigerText is not just cool technology - it is protection that every text user needs.”

Users can download the TigerText application from the iTunes store or learn more about the app on the website www.TigerText.com. Any iPhone or Ipod Touch user can try TigerText for free. The first 100 messages or first 15 days of use are completely free. After the trial period, TigerText costs just $1.49 per month for 250 texts or $2.49 per month for an unlimited number of texts.
