Real Estate Staging Statistics Prove Staging Works, Even in Current Market Conditions

STOCKTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Real Estate Staging Association® (RESA®) the member run trade association for professional stagers has released statistics on the effectiveness of Real Estate Staging and the results are phenomenal.

The study includes properties sold from January 2009 to December 2009:

126 vacant and occupied homes previously on the market on average 263 days unsold. Those same homes were staged and sold in 60 days on average. This is 78% less time on the market after staging.

RESA® has also updated the Consumer’s Guide to Real Estate Staging with the statistical data. The guide is a reference for home owners and real estate agents.
