LOS ANGELES--()--AECOM Technology Corporation (NYSE: ACM), a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for government and commercial clients around the world, announced today that a joint venture that it manages was awarded a maintenance and supply services task order under the U.S. Army's Field and Installation Readiness Support Team (FIRST) contract vehicle.
The task order directly supports the U.S. Army Prepositioned Stock (APS-5) in Afghanistan.
Under this task order, the AECOM-CACI Technologies Inc. joint venture, AC FIRST LLC., will provide tactical vehicle and equipment maintenance, facilities management and maintenance, supply and inventory management, and transportation services in support of the 3-401st Army Field Support Brigade at multiple locations across Afghanistan. The task order continues a program currently held and performed by AECOM for nearly five years.
The APS-5 Afghanistan task order has a 12-month base year and four one-year options. The total task order has an estimated value of US$378 million over the next five years.
