SAN FRANCISCO--()--The San Francisco Business Times is seeking nominations for its Technology and Innovation Awards.
“We are looking for entrepreneurs, innovators, market leaders and early-stage companies that show the most promise across a wide array of categories.”
“The awards will recognize the most innovative technology companies driving the Bay Area’s thriving technology sector,” said Mary Huss, publisher of the San Francisco Business Times. “We are looking for entrepreneurs, innovators, market leaders and early-stage companies that show the most promise across a wide array of categories.”
The awards will be presented May 20, and honorees will be profiled in a special publication in the May 21 edition of the San Francisco Business Times.
Finalists and winners will be selected by an independent panel of judges in conjunction with the San Francisco Business Times editors and technology reporters.
The deadline for nominations is Thursday, March 11.
Awards will be presented in the following categories:
- Best startup (company that is less than 3 years old)
- Best gaming/entertainment company
- Best Internet advertising/marketing company
- Best security company
- Best social media company
- Best mobile application or service
- Best gadget or product
- Best business application or service
- Best CEO at a big company (companies with revenue over $100 million)
- Best CEO at a small company (companies with revenue under $100 million)
- Best venture capitalist (an individual, not a firm)
Nominees must be headquartered in the San Francisco Business Times coverage area, which is limited to the counties of: San Francisco, San Mateo, Alameda, Contra Costa and Marin and the City of Palo Alto.
