FreedomWorks PAC and Chairman Dick Armey Endorse Allen West, Candidate for U.S. House of Representatives in Florida’s 22nd District

JUPITER, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, FreedomWorks PAC announced its latest “Champion of Freedom” endorsement as part of the Take America Back in 2010 campaign. Lt. Col. Allen West, running for Florida’s 22^nd U.S. House of Representatives seat currently occupied by Democrat Ron Klein, won the endorsement because of his unwavering belief in the tenets of limited government and fiscal conservative principles and the overwhelming support of FreedomWorks members in Florida and around the country.

West’s commitment to lower taxes, less government, and more freedom has captured the attention of many conservative activists, not just in Florida but around the country. At a recent strategy session that FreedomWorks hosted with conservative activists and tea party leaders from 21 different states, West was highlighted as one of the top candidates for the limited government movement to back in the 2010 election cycle.

FreedomWorks PAC will support West in his election bid by funding Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts including door-to-door literature drops, phone banks, and yard sign distribution.
