NEW YORK--()--Utendahl Capital Partners (UCP), the investment bank broker dealer, announced today that its financial services activities will be transitioned to The Williams Capital Group, L.P with immediate effect. As part of the business transition, UCP’s founder John Utendahl will maintain a strategic business relationship with Williams Capital in the role of senior advisor. The business operations of Utendahl Capital Management, a registered investment advisor, and its affiliated private equity fund companies are not part of this strategic change and will continue to operate independently.
“I'm very proud of the Utendahl legacy and believe that this represents the best opportunity to continue to grow the minority financial services space and provide even better service to our institutional clients”
The collaboration represents a positive development in the continued consolidation of the independent and minority-owned brokerage industry. "I'm very proud of the Utendahl legacy and believe that this represents the best opportunity to continue to grow the minority financial services space and provide even better service to our institutional clients," said Utendahl.
