PAR Technology Subsidiary Announces $43.1 Million Army Contract Award
NEW HARTFORD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rome Research Corporation (RRC), a subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PTC), was awarded a contract worth up to $43.1 million to provide operator level personnel to augment the 21st Signal Brigade supporting operations and maintenance of Army Global Information Grid (GIG) facilities within the continental United States. The performance period of the contract is 5 years.
The Army GIG facilities which include Camp Roberts, CA; Fort Belvoir, VA; Fort Bragg, NC; Fort Detrick, MD; Fort Meade, MD; and two remote sites contain combinations of Defense Satellite Communications System and Wideband Global Satellite X-band satellite earth terminals with all associated baseband equipment, and Technical Control Facilities.
