Bally’s Data Visualization, Campaign Management, Data Analytics Software Suite Replaces Competing Product
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, and casino-management systems for the global gaming industry, today announced that Greektown Casino-Hotel in Detroit, Mich., a $350 million casino property managed by The Fine Point Group, has installed Bally Business Intelligence (BI) for data analytics and visual analysis of gaming-floor performance, player and game interaction, and player behavior.
“one of the most sought-after consultants in the industry”
Bally’s award-winning BI, which replaced a competitor’s product, enables Greektown to achieve, more than ever before, a comprehensive and detailed understanding of their patrons, as well as their 2,500 slot and 72 table-game casino floor.
“Our goal was to obtain a state-of-the art business-intelligence solution that would easily integrate with our existing database,” said Chris Colwell, General Manager of Greektown Casino-Hotel and Senior Vice President of The Fine Point Group, a Las Vegas-based consulting firm hired to lead Greektown out of bankruptcy. “We were impressed with the depth, breadth, and functional ease of Bally’s reporting, data analytics, visualization, and campaign-management tools.”
Bally’s BI tools enable Greektown to monitor their slot operations, maximize their marketing programs, and rapidly respond to guests’ needs based on a clear, quick, and timely understanding of underlying data. Additionally, the Bally BI data dashboard and heat-map slot-floor overview clearly present mission-critical data which dynamically updates throughout the day so the casino can quickly make more informed and data-driven business decisions.
“Greektown’s selection of our Business Intelligence solutions underscores not only the innovative quality of this award-winning suite, but also our technological leadership,” said Ramesh Srinivasan, Executive Vice President – Bally Systems. “There are few in this industry as well recognized as The Fine Point Group for leveraging cutting-edge analytics to gain competitive advantage, and we are thrilled that they have chosen us as their platform as they take the property to new heights.”
Srinivasan added, “Greektown’s talented technical team, combined with Bally’s professional expertise and customer commitment, enabled a fast and successful eight-week implementation of Bally BI from the date the contract was signed.”
