University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations and Kaplan Aspect Sign Agreement

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations and Kaplan Aspect have signed an agreement for Kaplan Aspect to run a number of Cambridge ESOL’s computer-based English tests at Kaplan Aspect schools throughout the UK and Ireland.

University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations provides a world-leading range of certificates for learners and teachers of English. Kaplan Aspect provides English language and university preparation programmes. This agreement will give thousands of Kaplan Aspect students access to the Cambridge ESOL qualifications, starting in January 2010.

Cambridge ESOL is offering a growing number of exams that can be taken as computer-based tests, making it possible to add more exam dates, shorten registration times, and speed up access to results with scores available three weeks after the test.

Kaplan Aspect schools are located in nine key cities and towns throughout the UK and have a strong tradition of delivering English Language Training programmes. Many of these schools have provided exam training courses for Cambridge Examinations for years. Each school has state-of-the-art IT and wireless facilities including the latest animation and media software, and advanced encryption for high security for the computer-based exams.
