PureSafety Releases Next Generation Enterprise LSMS
New platform is industry’s first Learning and Safety Management System
FRANKLIN, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PureSafety, a leading provider of training, safety, occupational health and medical management software and information solutions, today announced the release of the industry’s first Learning and Safety Management System (LSMS).
“Our constant communication with customers made it clear that today’s workplace safety and training management operational challenges demanded more than a standard LMS provides”
The Enterprise LSMS incorporates the best features of PureSafety’s legacy LMS, but is designed to integrate critical and closely related areas including training, safety and compliance. Designed using the latest web-based technology, a highly intuitive user interface and an innovative platform will allow PureSafety to quickly and cost-effectively add more tools and features to meet client needs.
“Our constant communication with customers made it clear that today’s workplace safety and training management operational challenges demanded more than a standard LMS provides,” said PureSafety EVP and General Manager, Workforce Safety and Training Solutions, Mike Kroll. “So we didn’t just update our LMS — we created a new type of product designed to meet those challenges and needs.”
The LSMS offers improved functionality, ease of use, stability and security. It allows clients to automate more administrative tasks, and ensures timely, accurate tracking and reporting of critical training and safety information.
The LSMS’s flexible hierarchy accommodates even the most complex organizational or reporting structure, enabling program management across multiple locations or business units, while reducing the burden on administrators. The newly created Content Creation System (CCS) option allows customers to efficiently edit any of PureSafety’s 600+ off-the-shelf courses. Using the CCS, customers can also create new courses or other forms of content such as pre-tests and post-tests, safety incident summaries, policies or other related items from scratch. The expanded survey engine supports various safety and general survey needs, safety inspections and audits, and is a powerful facilitator of information gathering and feedback. Near term updates will address other safety management needs and add the convenience of a single sign-on between PureSafety’s LSMS and Occupational Health Manager® (OHM) software.
According to Bill Grana, president and CEO at PureSafety, “The LSMS represents our next generation commitment to improving workforce safety and health. In an innovative manner, it marries our heritage of learning management and content with expanded safety applications, and represents our philosophy that strong safety programs are based on an underlying commitment to learning. This release is an important element of a continuous initiative to create the most comprehensive suite of workforce safety and health software and information solutions and positions PureSafety as the clear market leader.”
