“On behalf of all of us at MakeMusic, I'd like to thank everyone who participated”
Launched in June, the "Share Your SmartMusic Story" encouraged SmartMusic educators to describe how SmartMusic has changed their music programs. On September 15 the top eight finalists (as picked by an internal panel of judges) were announced and their stories were posted on the contest page at smartmusic.com. All website visitors were then encouraged to vote for their favorite story until voting closed on September 30th.
"On behalf of all of us at MakeMusic, I'd like to thank everyone who participated," commented MakeMusic CEO Ron Raup. "Not only were we impressed with the volume of submissions and the thousands of votes cast, but we were gratified to read so many inspiring stories of how SmartMusic is helping to make a difference in music programs and in student learning."
All eight winning SmartMusic stories, as well as additional information on each of the finalists, are available at http://www.smartmusic.com/Community/Contest.aspx.
