Composite Software Selects Janus-SI to Help Meet European Demand for Its Data Virtualization Software
SAN MATEO, Calif. & PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Composite Software, Inc., a leading data virtualization software provider, today announced its selection of Janus-SI, a subsidiary of the Intrabases Group and a system integrator of value-added software solutions, to help meet the growing demand for Composite Software’s technology in continental Europe. Janus-SI joins Composite’s growing list of European system-integrator partners as its first French distributor.
“Janus-SI and its parent company, Intrabases Group, are greatly respected as innovators through their repeated successes in solving difficult and complex data integration problems for their many French enterprise customers,” said Jim Green, CEO of Composite Software. “Continental Europe is a key area of growth for us, and we’re excited to be partnering with the best in this market.”
Since establishing its European operations in 2006, Composite Software has seen tremendous acceleration in European demand from enterprises with European headquarters (e.g., Turkcell, the third largest mobile communication services provider in Europe) as well as global customers with large European operations (e.g., Pfizer, Inc.).
“As a strategic partner of Composite for the French market, we are eager to begin promoting Composite Software solutions to our customers,” said Christian Raoul-Duval, CEO and co-founder of Janus-SI. “These solutions apply directly to challenges such as constantly changing business requirements with urgent access to information; where data volumes and complexity must be overcome to produce information for better decision-making; and where cost control is mandatory to maximize limited resources.”
Information-intense industries including financial services, pharmaceutical, energy, telecom, media and others rely on Composite’s data virtualization technology for easier access to information—regardless of geographic location or data source. Instead of replicating data, Composite’s middleware models data and extracts the relevant content into “relational views” (e.g., reporting) or Web services (for service oriented architectures or SOAs).
“Customers can save time and money on implementation and maintenance processes for extracting data, whatever the data sources and targets are, using data virtualization technology,” said Regis Ramier, technical director at Janus-SI and a data integration specialist with more than 15 years’ experience.
Janus SI in France extends Composite’s growing list of European resellers that includes PowerData (Spain), Sci-Com (Greece), and Libi (Israel), as well as System Integrator Emunio (U.K.).
