Customers of Ooyala's publishing platform can now create and publish closed caption text across all of their content, in minutes. This feature is especially useful for content owners whose viewers are hearing impaired. Additionally, sub-titles permit content owners to target an international audience.

Closed captioning works natively within Backlot, Ooyala's publishing platform, and allows content owners to very quickly and easily setup multiple closed caption streams; this permits the viewer to select between languages or versions of the caption text.
