Agilent Technologies Names Marie Oh Huber to General Counsel Position
SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced the promotion of Marie Oh Huber to senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.
Huber has been Agilent’s vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary, and she has managed the team responsible for advising the board of directors and management team on issues including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate governance, securities, executive compensation and benefits, real estate, environmental and stock plan administration. Prior to joining Agilent, Huber spent 10 years with Hewlett-Packard as an M&A and securities lawyer and practiced at law firms in New York and San Francisco.
Huber received her B.A. in Economics from Yale University, studied at the London School of Economics and earned her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.
She serves on the board of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals and speaks frequently on corporate governance matters. Huber also serves on the board of the American Leadership Forum – Silicon Valley.
Huber replaces Craig Nordlund, who announced his retirement earlier this year. Her new position is effective Sept. 22.
