Humana and Outcomes® Announce National Partnership to Offer Medication Therapy Management Program

Program Aims to Help Enrollees Use Medications Safely, Effectively

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Outcomes Pharmaceutical Health Care (Outcomes) has been selected by Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) to partner on the administration of its Medication Therapy Management (MTM) program offered nationwide.

MTM programs provide eligible members the opportunity to improve therapeutic outcomes and health literacy through a specialized comprehensive medication review with a health professional.

This partnership will offer eligible Humana members a complete medication profile review with a pharmacist to detect any potential conflicts or duplications. Other services, such as patient education, compliance monitoring, and assistance with non-prescription medications, will also be available.
