SeaMobile® and MTN Satellite Services Names Jeanne Prayther Chief Financial Officer
MIRAMAR, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SeaMobile, Inc. and its MTN Satellite Services subsidiary, the leading provider of satellite communications services to the maritime industry and remote locations throughout the world, have named Jeanne Prayther as Chief Financial Officer.
Previous to her appointment as CFO, Prayther has served as the company’s Chief Accounting Officer. SeaMobile has become an industry leader in mobile satellite services offered through its MTN Satellite Services subsidiary. The company is privately held and is backed by a number of highly regarded investors, including Ignition Partners, Chart Capital Partners and Steelpoint Capital Partners.

Prayther is a CPA with over 21 years experience in the accounting industry. Before joining MTN, she was an accounting executive for various public companies, including Levitt Corporation, Mastec and Daleen Technologies, where she was responsible for all SEC reporting and compliance, contract reviews, Sarbanes Oxley compliance and financial analysis. Previously, she worked at KPMG LLP in the Boston and Miami offices, where she served audit clients in all industries. In addition to being the senior manager on various sized audit clients, she was involved in many initial public offerings and performed due diligence procedures for acquisitions.
