Rodman Energy Hires Jason Reimbold to head up A&D Services

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: RODM), today announced that, effective May 18, 2009, Jason P. Reimbold joined The Rodman Energy Group as Vice President, A&D Services in their Houston office.

Mr. Reimbold comes to Rodman from PLS, Inc., an A&D focused intermediary, which also provides capital services and publishes on a wide variety of energy topics. After serving in the US Army, Mr. Reimbold has dedicated himself to the energy business, including as a financial analyst for Bank of Oklahoma, N.A., and as a Vice President of The Theseus Group, LLC. He joined PLS in 2008, where, as Director, Capital Markets, he specialized in facilitating sales of domestic oil and gas properties and mid-stream assets typically valued under $100MM. For Rodman Mr. Reimbold will focus on assisting its many existing and potential clients to augment capital through strategic sales of non-core assets. Mr. Reimbold will also be available to assist Rodman's buy-side clients to rationalize existing portfolio companies or their underlying assets. In addition, he will work closely with the existing Rodman Energy investment bankers to source financing opportunities from among his numerous operating contacts throughout the industry.
