The Press Club of Cleveland Honors the Best Journalists in Ohio; Celebrates 31st Anniversary of the Event

CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The top media performers in Ohio were recognized Friday, June 19 at the 31st Annual Ohio Excellence in Journalism Awards. The Press Club of Cleveland honored Ohio's best newspapers, magazines, photographers, designers and writers at the ceremony, held at the Marriott Downtown at Key Center in Cleveland.

More than 1,000 entries were received from a variety of daily and non-daily newspapers, radio and television stations, and trade and business publications from across the state. Work was submitted across the competition's categories: daily newspaper, non-daily newspaper, new media, radio, television, business publications, trade
publications, magazines, print visuals, photography and open print.

Each publication entered was reviewed and critiqued by a panel of experts from out-of-state Press Clubs and media outlets.
