Janney Adds Two More Experts to Capital Markets Team
Firm’s Ongoing Expansion Continues with Latest Hires from Large Banking Institutions
PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Janney Montgomery Scott LLC (“Janney”), a leading regional full-service financial services firm, today announced that it has hired Christopher R. Long as a Director and head of the Short Term Institutional Trading Desk and Timothy M. Kelly as a Director of Public Finance for the firm’s Capital Markets business. Mr. Long and Mr. Kelly are the latest in a series of high profile industry veterans who have joined Janney from some of the world’s largest banking institutions. The moves point to Janney’s continued momentum and the firm’s growing reputation as a top destination for industry talent in the wake of broader market instability.
“We have become a go-to destination for top talent and Tim and Chris are the latest examples of that. We are excited about the energy and expertise they bring to the firm and for our clients.”
At Janney, Mr. Long will oversee all aspects of Short Term Institutional Trading. He joins the firm after spending a decade with UBS Investment Bank in New York City.
