Signal Hill Expands its Equity Capital Markets Business

BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Signal Hill Capital Group LLC, a specialty investment banking, research and institutional brokerage firm, announced today that it has expanded its Sales, Trading and Research division through the addition of Senior Institutional Salesman Edward J. Cushing, III, Managing Director, and Senior Research Analyst Mayank Tandon, Director. Mr. Cushing has over 14 years of experience as a Senior Institutional Salesman. Mr. Tandon has more than 12 years of research experience, mainly in the technology sector.

Prior to joining Signal Hill, Mr. Cushing served as an Institutional Salesman with Merrill Lynch responsible for the New York and Mid Atlantic regions. Earlier in his career he was an Equity Research Salesperson at Lazard Frères & Company. Mr. Cushing is a graduate of Clarkson University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution.

Before joining Signal Hill, Mr. Tandon was the lead Software & Services Equity Research Analyst for Fidelity Investments where he also served as the Portfolio Manager of Fidelity’s Select Software & Computer Services fund. Prior to Fidelity Investments, he was an Equity Research Analyst with Janney Montgomery Scott LLC and INNOVA Securities. Mr. Tandon graduated with a BA in Economics (Honors) from Jai Hind College, University of Bombay and an MA in Economics from Northeastern University.
