HireVue Brings on Industry Leaders to Support Growth

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Video Interviewing pioneer HireVue, Inc. today announced three strategic hires in Scott Fowle, Josh Schwede and Christopher Higbee, who have been brought on board to direct HireVue’s aggressive growth plans. Mr. Fowle will take over as Vice President of Sales while Mr. Schwede will take over as Vice President of Business Development and Mr. Higbee as Vice President of Marketing.

Companies like Google, Whirlpool, Rio Tinto and Oracle use HireVue to perform virtual employment interviews via webcam over the Internet. The interviews are then stored in a secure online system and can then be used by hiring managers and other recruiting stakeholders to better evaluate a candidate before spending additional time and money in the hiring process.

In the past 12 months, HireVue has experienced greater than 500% growth in the number of video interviews performed through the online service while at the same time expanding their global offering to more than 85 countries.
Scott Fowle will lead HireVue's global sales efforts as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Fowle has over 25 years of sales experience in technology, software and business services. While serving in various sales management positions, Mr. Fowle was instrumental in growing a number of high profile HR technology and services companies including Taleo, CareerBuilder and The Divine Group. He last worked as Regional Vice President of Sales for SuccessFactors before joining HireVue. Mr. Fowle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Trinity International University.
Josh Schwede will lead HireVue's strategic alliance program as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Schwede has over 12 years of strategic alliance and sales experience in software and business services. Prior to joining HireVue, Mr. Schwede was the Director of Business Development for HireRight (a division of USIS) and before his 5 years at HireRight, he held various positions at IBM and Centerpost (acquired by West Corporation). Mr. Schwede holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
Christopher Higbee will guide HireVue’s product, brand and customer development efforts as Vice President of Marketing. Prior to joining HireVue, Mr. Higbee served as President of Kindle Marketing, a provider of outsourced marketing services, and as Vice President of Marketing for Two Little Hands Productions. Previous to Kindle, Mr. Higbee served as a Senior Product Manager and Director of Solutions Consulting for HireRight from 2001 to 2007, having helped to pioneer the concept of HR focused SaaS applications and integrations. Before HireRight, Mr. Higbee served in various positions with FranklinCovey, The Generations Network and Reef SA, a provider of content management software for the Internet. Mr. Higbee holds a BFA with honors from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Management from Pepperdine University.
