Verifi, Inc. Selects Edward Katzin as Chief Technology Officer

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Verifi, Inc., the leading provider of transaction risk management services for card-not-present merchants, announced that Edward Katzin has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer. Edward is a senior executive with over 17 years of diversified experience in application development, enterprise technical architecture, infrastructure build-out, datacenter operations, and systems management.

Verifi provides Merchants, Acquirers, and Issuing Banks the tools they need to reduce risk and increase profitability. Using proprietary and industry applications, Verifi supports the creation of a safe and secure payment environment for all participants.

Mr. Katzin was most recently the CIO of Revolution Money, Inc. where he was responsible for managing the company’s technology infrastructure and system’s development as well as defining the technology strategy to achieve the company’s growth plan. Prior to that, Edward was CTO for Madison Tyler LLC, responsible for expanding connectivity to international exchanges and optimizing management of the network, datacenter facilities, and software development.

Before joining Madison Tyler, Edward was Vice President of Technology Strategy with Inovant, a Visa company, and was responsible for leading the development of Visa’s technology strategy.

Earlier in Mr. Katzin’s career he served as a consultant for DiamondCulster (now Diamond Management & Technology Consultants Inc.). While there, Edward was a Principal and Senior Technical Architect, responsible for designing and deploying large scale information systems solutions that align the deployment of technology solutions with business strategy and maximize the return on investments in technology.
