AlwaysOn Unveils the Coveted 2009 OnHollywood 100
Honors the Best Up-and-Coming Companies in Digital Media and Entertainment
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AlwaysOn, the media network that provides an open and participatory editorial environment, today announced its highly anticipated OnHollywood Top 100 Private Companies list, featuring the top emerging companies in digital media and entertainment. AlwaysOn editors compiled the fourth annual OnHollywood 100 with assistance from KPMG’s emerging business group, KPMG VC Practice. The OnHollywood 100 were selected from more than 500 nominations made by venture investors, investment bankers, and technology insiders.
Companies demonstrating innovation, market traction, and significant technological advancements in the following sectors were selected to be part of the OnHollywood 100: consumer services, content delivery platforms, digital content publishers, enabling tools, gaming, and mobile.
Each OnHollywood 100 winner demonstrated leadership in innovation, market opportunity, commercialization, media buzz, and stakeholder value creation.
