Jon Vice, Former President and CEO of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Named Senior Advisor at HealthTeacher

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HealthTeacher announced today that Jon E. Vice has been named as Senior Advisor to HealthTeacher. Jon Vice retired in January, 2009 after 25 years as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Children’s Hospital and Health System, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and its subsidiaries.

Mr. Vice will serve in an advisory capacity to HealthTeacher and act as liaison with children’s hospitals, and other children’s health-related organizations.

Mr. Vice’s career in children’s health spans almost 40 years, including leadership roles at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and The Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Vice holds a Master’s Degree in Hospital and Health Administration from the University of Alabama Birmingham, where he currently serves as an Adjunct Professor. Vice serves on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Miracle Network, and is the former Chairman of the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI).
