Lazard Names Antonio Weiss Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lazard Ltd (NYSE: LAZ) announced today that it has named Antonio Weiss as Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, effective immediately, where he will, among other responsibilities, help lead the firm’s major global client efforts.

Mr. Weiss, 42, joined Lazard in New York in 1993 and became a Managing Director in 1999. Since 2006, he has served as a Vice Chairman of European Investment Banking. Mr. Weiss has advised on transactions in a broad range of industries and geographies including for such clients as Anheuser-Busch InBev, Nestlé, KKR, CSN, SCM, Fiat and ITT.
Mr. Weiss is a graduate of Yale College and Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar and Loeb Fellow in Finance. He is also Publisher of The Paris Review, a literary quarterly.
