Herald National Bank Officially Opens Melville, Long Island Private Client Office

NEW YORK--()--Herald National Bank (NYSE Alternext US: HNB) today announced the official opening of its Long Island private client office. Located at 58 South Service Road in the heart of Melville, this office serves as the base of operations for five of Herald’s 14 total private client banking teams providing small and middle-market businesses with unparalleled relationship-based commercial and private banking services.

“With a clean balance sheet, a tested management team and the financial acumen of our experienced banking teams, we look forward to becoming a trusted partner to business owners on Long Island and throughout the New York metropolitan area.”

The five banking teams that reside in the Melville office bring over 200 years of combined experience in the commercial banking industry serving small and middle-market clients across a variety of industries, and include the Glenn Crisafi Professional Services Group, the Stephanie Handsman and Steven Cavaluzzo Private Client Team, the John Daly and Jeff Wall Private Client Team, the Jeffrey Barber and Michael Sabala Private Client Team, and the Mario Caracappa Private Client Team. Each of the bankers that comprise these teams were recruited to Herald National Bank from some of the most recognizable national and regional banking institutions such as CapitalOne, Citibank, Bank of America, TD Bank, and the State Bank of Long Island.

As a notable feature of Herald National Bank’s business plan, the managing directors above each have joined with a number of their key associates from their former institutions.

“We aim to support each team’s ability to service their loyal clients. In most cases, this means that managing directors join Herald with key teammates, leaving former clients with every reason to follow,” explains David S. Bagatelle, President and Chief Executive Officer of Herald National Bank.

“Long Island has always played a prominent role in New York commerce," said Daniel M. Healy, Executive Chairman of Herald National Bank and former Executive Vice President and board member of North Fork Bank. “With a clean balance sheet, a tested management team and the financial acumen of our experienced banking teams, we look forward to becoming a trusted partner to business owners on Long Island and throughout the New York metropolitan area.”

The Melville, Long Island office also serves as the home for Herald National Bank’s operations center, technical support group and operational staff.
