Kaplan Higher Education Names Conlon President

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jeffrey J. Conlon, 43, has been named president of Kaplan Higher Education, it was announced today by Andrew S. Rosen, chairman and chief executive officer of Kaplan, Inc. In this role, Conlon is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of Kaplan Higher Education, the postsecondary education division of Kaplan, Inc. that serves more than 100,000 students through 70-plus on-ground campuses and online in the United States and abroad.

Conlon, a 16-year Kaplan veteran, most recently served as president of Kaplan Higher Education Campuses, a position he retains.

During his tenure, Conlon has held various positions throughout Kaplan including senior vice president of Kaplan University; chief executive officer of SCORE! Educational Centers, Kaplan’s after-school tutoring business; and regional director for Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. Previous to his Kaplan service, Conlon was a consultant with Mercer Management Consulting.

Conlon holds a master’s in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s from Brown University.
