Dick Bromley Named Business Wire's Regional Vice President, Europe
LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dick Bromley has been named Business Wire's regional vice president, Europe, a promotion that recognizes his leadership role in the region's consistent double-digit sales growth and rising share of the continental regulatory disclosure market.
Bromley has served as European Sales Director since November 2006. He will continue to report to Gregg Castano, co-chief operating officer, and will work closely with Rudi DeCeuster, the company's Brussels-based senior director of business development.
Business Wire's London, Paris and Frankfurt offices ranked among the company's fastest growing offices in 2008. In a splintered market dominated by many local service providers, an increasing number of European companies have turned to Business Wire for regional and international distribution to reach consumers and investors beyond their own borders. Business Wire's unique value proposition is its unmatched global media and investor relations networks, coupled with proprietary technology and expansive product portfolio.
Business Wire has become the regulatory disclosure service of choice for European issuers; the company has a dozen TOD networks throughout the European Union. In France, for example, nearly half of the CAC 40 have selected Business Wire to satisfy their TOD compliance obligations.
"Dick has the poise, industry knowledge and professionalism to successfully leverage Business Wire's growth opportunities throughout Europe," said Castano, in making the announcement. "We have ambitious plans for the region, and we are confident that Dick will help us realize our goals."
Bromley lives with his wife, Louiza, and two children in Tunbridge Wells, England.
