Compass Minerals’ North American Salt Subsidiary
Launches Nature’s Own Line of Water Care Products

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--North American Salt Company, a subsidiary of Compass Minerals (NYSE: CMP), has announced the addition of three formulations to its Nature’s Own family of water care products. The products come in potassium- or sodium chloride-based formulas.

“The Nature’s Own line focuses on water care – creating products that match consumers’ lifestyles to provide water that’s cleaner, softer and healthier,” said Kevin Thimmesch, Business Director.

In addition to its original Potassium Cubes formula, Nature’s Own now offers Potassium-Enriched Cubes, a new patented product. Both formulas use potassium-based crystals to soften water and provide a mineral essential to diet. They work in any brand of water softener units.

Nature’s Own also has two formulas for its Sodium Chloride Cubes. Nature’s Own Sodium Chloride Cubes, with Rust Fighter, prevent iron and rust discoloration on hair, dishes, laundry and appliances. Nature’s Own Sodium Chloride Cubes, with Resin Clean, optimize water softener performance.

All Nature’s Own products are made from natural, high-purity ingredients. Each formula protects plumbing and appliances and provides cleaner clothes and dishes. Available in patented, ergonomically designed two-handle bags, the new Nature’s Own packaging allows for easy carrying and smooth pouring.
