Knott’s Berry Farm Rings in New Year with Uplifting Rock and Family Fun at Praise 2009

BUENA PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Knott’s Berry Farm will blast into the New Year with a contemporary Christian entertainment celebration with the hottest musical headliners taking over the theme park.

Praise 2009 combines a night of famous Knott’s attractions such as Silver Bullet, GhostRider and the new Pony Express, with the biggest names in contemporary Christian music. December 31 headliners include chart toppers Kutless, Todd Agnew, Brandon Heath, Addison Road and comedian Thor Ramsey.

In addition, Rick Reyna will be presenting the Rallys for Christ Stage featuring Latin and hip hop performances by En Kairos, The Queens, Roca Firme, SOG, Devo, T-Bone and Aaron de La Cruz.

The rock quintet Kutless has landed three top singles on the Christian music charts, has sold 180,000 copies of its self-titled album, and 250,000 copies of its 2003 effort Sea of Faces. The group has toured with some of the top bands in Christian music and even performed at a Billy Graham crusade before an audience of 95,000.

Todd Agnew’s Rock/Indie blend is a favorite of Contemporary Christian stations, in particular his version of “Amazing Grace” entitled “Grace Like Rain,” which was featured on his first album in 2003. In July 2007, he released the album Better Questions featuring the hit single “Our Great God” a duet featuring fellow Christian artist Rebecca St. James.
