WHAT: UCLA Anderson Forecast Economists will release their quarterly economic outlook for the Nation and California regions. In addition the quarterly Forecast, there will be a formal question and answer session. This conference is for Forecast members only. Topics to be discussed include:

  • Might consumers be in a holiday mood this year?
  • Will Santa Claus be laid off? What will be our New Year's resolutions?
  • The recession, how bad? How long?
  • Will the decline in residential real estate severely impact commercial real estate?
  • What will the new Obama administration do?
  • Does the Fed have anymore tricks left in its bag?
  • Wall street melts down, does California?
  • Housing prices continue to fall, is it free fall?
  • The commercial office market, is there light at the end of the tunnel?
