Canon Canada Resells Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite from Bitstream

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. & TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pageflex®, a division of Bitstream Inc. (NASDAQ: BITS, www.bitstream.com) and a leading developer of enterprise variable publishing and web-to-print solutions, and Canon Canada Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., have announced an agreement that strengthens Canon Canada’s variable data solution offerings. The agreement gives customers of Canon Canada’s digital production equipment, such as the flagship imagePRESS C7000VP, the ability to provide their customers with powerful customized communications through Pageflex Persona™ Cross Media Suite. Pageflex will be demonstrating Pageflex Persona in the Canon Canada booth (#600) at Print World Canada, being held November 22-24, 2008 at The Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Bitstream, which first introduced variable data software 10 years ago, is now an Alliance Partner within the Canon Workflow Program. The agreement means that Canon Canada’s customers have access to Bitstream’s Pageflex Persona, a desktop variable data application that can generate variable communications in both print and HTML email formats.
