Bert Frost Elected Vice President, Sales and Market Development at CF Industries
Frost To Succeed Monty Summa
DEERFIELD, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:CF) today announced that its Board of Directors has elected Bert A. Frost to be vice president, Sales and Market Development. Frost joins the company immediately and will succeed Monty R. Summa, currently vice president, Sales, effective January 1, 2009. In October, the company announced Summa’s plans to retire at year-end.
Frost, 44, comes to CF Industries from Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM), one of the largest agricultural processors in the world, where he had served as managing director, International Fertilizer and Inputs based in Rolle, Switzerland since early in 2008. In that position, he was responsible for expanding crop input sales in Europe, as well as growing the company’s South American fertilizer/input ventures. Prior to that, he was director of the Fertilizer, Logistics, and Ports divisions for ADM based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Earlier in his career, Frost held several positions with Koch Industries, including country director in Argentina, responsible for business development for Koch’s International and Agriculture Division.
The new CF Industries executive earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Kansas State University.
