Farmers Insurance Claims Personnel Deployed to Help Customers in “Sayre Fires” Burning in the Sylmar, Knollwood, Granada Hills Areas

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--“We have engaged a large contingency of Farmers Insurance claims personnel to get immediate help to our customers throughout the Sayre Fire,” explains Bill Matlock, Farmers California State Executive Director. “It is a major disaster and we have all necessary resources to make sure our customers get the help needed in this terrible fire situation.”

The bus is equipped with state-of-the-art communications equipment; has the capability to handle up to 70 claims at one time; it has supplies for customers and non-customers alike, satellite telephone capability and satellite laptop access for customers and those in need. In addition, the bus also has a grill capable of supplying meals to customers and others in need.

Several Customer Care Claims Vehicles (CCV’s), smaller versions of the bus, are set up with claims personnel to help customers at the following locations:
