Allstate to Donate $15,000 to Cleveland Charity;
Voters Get to Pick Which One

CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Allstate has opened online voting for its Your Choice Charity program in Cleveland. This philanthropic program allows consumers to vote for which Cleveland-based charity will receive a $15,000 donation from Allstate.

Allstate is working in the Cleveland community with three charity partners: Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cleveland, Facing History and Ourselves, and United Way of Cleveland. By casting votes online at www.allstate.com/YourChoiceCharity, consumers will decide which of these organizations will receive the $15,000 donation. Online voting is available now through Dec. 4.

The Your Choice Charity program is a reflection of Allstate’s commitment to giving back to the communities in which it does business. In December 2004, Allstate launched Your Choice Auto® with its Safe Driving Bonus. Since that launch, safe drivers across the U.S. have received $84 million from Allstate’s Safe Driving Bonus. During that same time, safe drivers in Ohio have received $2,864,727 in Safe Driving Bonuses. To acknowledge these safe drivers, Allstate created a program in which people can vote on the recipient of a charitable contribution in their community.

The $15,000 to a Cleveland-based charity is one of 10 similar donations Allstate will be making across the country, for a total of $150,000 going to deserving organizations.
