With CyberData's New 3 Port Ethernet Switch, An Additional Network Connection Can Now Be Added to a POS Workstation
MONTEREY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In response to growing need, CyberData Corporation today has announced the release of their latest connectivity product – the 3 Port Powered Ethernet Switch.
“This 3 port switch provides a high quality (Retail Hardened) solution for Retailers needing an additional network port that could previously only be provided by home type Hub devices.”
The 3-Port Ethernet Switch allows a single Ethernet drop to a POS station to be split into two separate ports, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. CyberData’s 3 Port Ethernet Switch receives its power from either a standard USB or PoweredUSB port on the host PC. No external power supply is required. The three ports auto-negotiate and work in full 10/100 duplex modes.
This latest product release from CyberData compliments a robust product line that includes innovative POS, Retail and VoIP endpoints for Unified Communications. Phillip Lembo, President and CEO of CyberData stated that, “This 3 port switch provides a high quality (Retail Hardened) solution for Retailers needing an additional network port that could previously only be provided by home type Hub devices.”For additional product information, please contact a CyberData sales representative at (831) 373-2601, ext 334 or download an information package from: http://www.cyberdata.net/support/datasheets.html .
