Goldleaf Releases Payment Web Services Solution for Remote Deposit
New Functionality Offers Institutions Complete Control of the End User Experience
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Goldleaf Financial Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ:GFSI), a provider of integrated technology-based solutions designed to improve the performance of financial institutions, today announced the release of its Sierra Xpedite Payment Web Services solution, a service-oriented interface that allows financial institutions to fully integrate deposit taking functionality into any web-based applications including online banking solutions and Internet portals.
The solution was created at the request of several clients that needed the interface to more effectively implement remote deposit functionality to a larger base of customers through familiar, convenient servicing channels already in place throughout their enterprises. Goldleaf’s Payment Web Services solution allows financial institutions to protect their online brands while using Goldleaf’s industry proven Sierra Xpedite functionality through an application programming interface (API) behind the scenes. The solution also enables institutions to reuse existing investments in online technologies, user administration, approvals, authentication and risk management systems.
Lynn Boggs, CEO of Goldleaf Financial Solutions, commented, “Our Payment Web Services solution provides institutions an innovative way to extend the success of remote deposit to any online servicing channel in a way that is convenient for the user and meets their individual preferences and standards. This allows institutions to deliver a seamless and consistent customer experience of the highest quality.”
Institutions have invested heavily to establish their brands online and secure and ensure the success of their existing online servicing channels. Goldleaf’s Payment Web Services leverages the same infrastructure and transforms remote deposit into a straightforward, new functional module that does not require a separate system, but is a simple extension of new interface components within the existing system.
Boggs continued, “Goldleaf has extensive experience with deposit automation integrations – some of which are being used by the largest institutions across the globe. Our Payment Web Service offering is a natural extension of that experience, enabling institutions to take advantage of core technology while maintaining investment in their brands.”
In addition to institutions, Goldleaf executives see this as a partnership opportunity for vendors who build and manage online banking solutions but lack fully integrated remote deposit functionality. With Payment Web Services, vendors can further their success providing innovative functionality to financial institutions of all sizes that provides immediate, meaningful benefits in customer acquisition and servicing as well as cost reduction and efficiency.
