ThankYou® Network Introduces Greater Flexibility with the Inclusion of Prepaid Cards in its Reward Collection

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As part of its ongoing effort to give consumers even more freedom and flexibility when redeeming their rewards points, Citi’s ThankYou Network has made arrangements with Citi® Prepaid Services to introduce a new prepaid card rewards option for members of ThankYou Network.

The prepaid cards – available in three denominations, $25, $50 and $100 – can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. They also feature Visa’s “Zero Liability” protection against fraudulent charges.*

“The new prepaid cards let our members put their points to work exactly where they want, which could mean going out to dinner, taking their family to the movies or simply buying groceries,” said Nancy Gordon, executive vice president, Citi’s ThankYou Network, Citi. “Our goal is to continually provide customers with new ways to reap their rewards and we believe the flexibility of the prepaid card option is a perfect complement to the larger ThankYou rewards catalog, which already includes merchandise, travel and student loan rebates.”

ThankYou Network members may select a card embossed with their name or they may elect to give the card as a gift and personalize it with the name of the gift recipient. Cards designated as gifts will be delivered directly to the recipient with a note identifying the sender.

Rewarding Everyday Behavior

With the new prepaid card offering, ThankYou Network is giving members even more ways to use their points. ThankYou Network’s reward collection also includes gift cards, cash, travel options powered by Expedia, charitable donations and customized rewards through the “Your Wish Fulfilled” program.
