The Apothecary 2nd Annual Health Carnival Saturday October 4th
OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Apothecary Pharmacy would like to invite Bay Area residents to participate in our 2nd annual Health Carnival on October 4, 2008 from 11AM to 4PM at the Brookins AME Church located at 2201 73rd Avenue in Oakland, CA.
The health carnival is open to everyone and admission is free.
The carnival offers families of the urban community an array of free health screenings from over a dozen local agencies and health providers. Services available include dental, diabetes and HIV screening, general health education, child fingerprinting, blood pressure monitoring, asthma education and more. In addition to the health screenings, children can enjoy face painting, jumpers and games.
Attendees will receive a complimentary Pharmacy Discount Card (www.publichealthrx.com/discountcard) available through Ramsell Public Health Rx, a pharmacy benefit manager.
