AMA Houston: “Integrating Marketing and Sales” Workshop to be Held October 1
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The AMA Houston Business-to-Business (B2B) Special Interest Group will host a special two-part seminar, Creating Marketing Programs that Resonate with Your Sales Team, on Wednesday, October 1 at 1300 Four Oaks Place in Houston's Uptown Galleria area. A breakfast will be held at 7:30 am while a workshop will begin at noon.
The seminars are designed to help mid- to senior level marketing professionals integrate marketing and sales by creating marketing programs that resonate with their sales teams. The sessions will be presented by Diane Emo, Senior Vice President of Products and Learning for Corporate Visions Inc. She is the co-author of Customer Message Management™: Increasing Marketing’s Impact on Selling.
The morning session is open to AMA Houston members and non-members, and will be a guided tour through sales and marketing integration. In this presentation, Emo will cover the three barometers that can focus an organization towards integrating the sales and marketing functions. Emo will share industry statistics, preview a message development process and discuss examples of how companies are taking on the challenge of sales and marketing integration and turning mismatched efforts into one voice.
The afternoon session, open to AMA members only, is a hands-on workshop and luncheon with Emo. Attendees will learn how traditional messaging and marketing fall short in helping customers make decisions about services. Are your messages too high-level and fail to speak to the customers’ challenges? Or are they too low-level and filled with “who we are” and “how much it costs,” making it difficult for your customers to see your real value?
