Sun Country Airlines Statement
ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Petters Aviation-owned Sun Country Airlines will continue to fly its regular scheduled and charter service with no affect on operations or schedule. Minnetonka-based Petters Company was searched by federal agents Wednesday morning as part of an investigation being conducted by law enforcement agencies.
Stan Gadek, Chief Executive Officer of Sun Country Airlines said that the federal investigation will in no way impact Sun Country. “We are owned by Petters Aviation which is a separate non-affected company. It is business as usual at Sun Country and we do not anticipate any impact from these events. We continue to focus on improving our business in a challenging environment of high fuel prices and extending our recent profitable performance.”
Gadek continued, “Our commitment to Minnesota has not changed. We are ‘The Hometown Airline’ with the mission of providing a superior product at affordable prices to our customers. We differentiate ourselves by offering free food on all our flights, by operating out of the convenient Humphrey terminal and by delivering a positive experience to our travelers from beginning to end.”
