“America’s businesses form the backbone of our economy; small businesses alone account for more than 99 percent of all companies and provide nearly 45 percent of the nation’s payroll,” said Bob Boyd, president and CEO of Agility, a provider of disaster recovery services throughout North America. “Yet, these businesses are the ones who have historically been unprepared in regards to business continuity plans.
“We believe that every business – regardless of size – should have a disaster recovery plan in place so that they can stay in business. National Preparedness Month is the perfect venue for us to educate the general public on the basics of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.”
