American Farmers and Ranchers Insurance Delegation Tours Idaho Operations/Meets with AFR Agents

OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Farmers and Ranchers CEO and President Ray L. Wulf and members of the AFR Board of Directors are meeting with Idaho insurance agents, Insurance Department officials and other Idaho business leaders this week.

The Board and I are excited about the future of AFR in the State of Idaho, and our wonderful relationship with the Idaho-based insurance agents that make it possible for AFR to be one of the leading P&C Companies not only in Idaho, but all across the Western United States, Mr. Wulf says.

In February, Oklahoma City-based American Farmers and Ranchers Insurance officially expanded operations to 24 states, the culmination of a plan by Mr. Wulf and the AFR Board to spread risk and enter 24 new geographic markets via the acquisition of Idaho-based General Fire and Casualty. All General Fire operations have officially been renamed American Farmers and Ranchers Insurance Company.

American Farmers & Ranchers sells commercial lines business using the former General Fire platform, and the company offers a variety of other commercial and personal lines products, including homeowners, farm owners, boat owners, motorcycle, dwelling coverage, farm property, auto policy and combination auto policy, farm and ranch umbrella coverage, personal umbrella coverage and farm liability coverage.

AFR is now a leader in the insurance market in the western half of the United States, and the AFR insurance agents in Idaho are the keys in serving this great state, says the American Farmers and Ranchers CEO and President.

Mr. Wulf and the AFR delegation met with agents in Pocatello, Boise, Meridian and in Coeur d'Alene.
