ORBCOMM Adds More Than 40,000 Net Billable Subscriber Communicators in the Second Quarter of 2008

(Nasdaq: ORBC), a global satellite data communications company focused on two-way Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications, today announced net additions of more than 40,000 billable subscriber communicators for the second quarter ended June 30, 2008, including approximately 32,400 satellite and 8,100 terrestrial subscriber communicators. The company has a total subscriber communicator base of more than 420,000 as of June 30, 2008.
