Petroplus Announces Flaring at Its Ingolstadt Refinery

Petroplus Holdings AG (SWX: PPHN) announced today that its Ingolstadt refinery had flaring in connection with a loss of power to the refinery’s control systems. There were no injuries and based on preliminary assessments there was no damage to refinery units. As a precaution, the refinery was safely shutdown. The cause of the power disruption is being determined and the refinery is expected to resume full operations within a few days.
