Electric Insurance’s ''A (Excellent)'' Rating Affirmed by A.M. Best
Rating Reflects Company’s Excellent Capitalization and Sustained Operating Profitability
BEVERLY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Electric Insurance Company announced today that A.M. Best Company has affirmed its financial strength rating (FSR) of “A (Excellent)”. Electric Insurance is a national provider of auto, homeowners, condominium, and renters insurance. In addition, the company is a primary liability and worker’s compensation insurer for General Electric Company. A.M. Best is a full-service credit rating organization dedicated to serving the financial services industries, including the banking and insurance sectors.
A.M. Best reiterated Electric Insurance’s "solid capitalization, sustained operating profitability, and valued-added commercial insurance services provided to GE” as the basis for the affirmed rating. Also noted were Electric Insurance’s customer service focus, low cost operating structure, e-commerce initiatives, and CAT management strategy.
