LenderLive Network Names Steve VanSickler Director of Community Lending
Industry Veteran Responsible for Growing One of the Company’s Five Business Channels
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LenderLive Network, Inc., a business process outsourcing and technology provider for the residential mortgage industry, appointed Steve VanSickler as director of community lending to manage the marketing efforts of the company’s retail business channel. He is responsible for growing LenderLive’s core business and meeting the needs of existing clients while helping them grow and profit from residential mortgage loans. VanSickler is an experienced business leader who will be dedicated to expanding the company’s service offering to banks and credit unions.
“The company’s focus on its community lending business channel at LenderLive provides LenderLive clients a better understanding of how outsourcing mortgage origination and fulfillment processes can maximize their productivity and minimize operational and financial risks.”
“As a result of the changing needs of the mortgage industry and LenderLive’s greater focus on specific business channels, we wanted to make sure we had someone with experience and respect to head the community lending channel. Community lending is important to us because we believe banks and credit unions will become dominant sources of mortgage loans for consumers,” said Rick Seehausen, president of LenderLive. “VanSickler has a diverse lending background that includes management, business development, fulfillment, training and servicing/collections, and he can undoubtedly help our clients enhance operating efficiencies as well as contribute to LenderLive’s growth.“
LenderLive offers an operational alternative that reduces lending costs for banks and credit unions through outsourcing services for the origination and processing of mortgage loans. VanSickler’s more than 20 years experience in multiple lending channels has prepared him to clearly communicate the benefits of outsourcing via LenderLive at the community lending level.
“Community lenders sometimes have a different approach to their business and want to be able to provide their customers a high level of responsiveness,” VanSickler said. “The company’s focus on its community lending business channel at LenderLive provides LenderLive clients a better understanding of how outsourcing mortgage origination and fulfillment processes can maximize their productivity and minimize operational and financial risks.”
Before joining LenderLive, VanSickler was vice president at Air Academy Federal Credit Union for six years before becoming senior vice president and chief lending officer for Red Rocks Credit Union in Highlands Ranch, Colo. Additionally, he has held leadership positions in business, consumer and real estate lending for Household Finance, First Interstate Bank, World Savings, BankAmerica/Security Pacific, Barnett Bank and First Union Home Equity Bank.
VanSickler received the Credit Union National Association (CUNA)’s 2001 Excellence in Lending Award for Mortgage Lending, as well as two Best Practices awards from Credit Union Journal for First Time Homebuyer Program (2005) and Home Equity Lending (2007). He is the chair of the Legislative and Regulatory Compliance Committee for the American Credit Union Mortgage Association (ACUMA), and a member of national advisory panels for CUNA, CMG Mortgage Insurance, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
