National Lampoon Launches In-House Audio Label

To Release Comedy Audio Across All Media Platforms

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--National Lampoon, Inc. (AMEX: NLN), the most widely recognized brand in comedy, today announced that it has launched an audio label, forming National Lampoon Records. This move expands the build of the companys owned content library, and follows the companys recent success in developing, producing, and distributing its own feature film library into all areas including theatrical, home entertainment, television, and digital markets.

This is another step in the evolution of the company. National Lampoon continues to be a leader in the comedy world, and we are excited to be expanding our owned and controlled library along with building additional distribution throughout all media, stated Daniel Laikin, National Lampoon Chief Executive Officer. National Lampoon has a rich history in the audio space, starting with the National Lampoon Radio Hour back in the early 70s, and featuring Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, and Bill Murray, along with the many other comedy geniuses of our time. National Lampoon has produced a number of Grammy nominated comedy albums and we look forward to building on that legacy.

National Lampoon Records plans to release at least twelve titles per year, comprised of at least six original titles and up to six acquisitions. Product will be available throughout retail and all digital distribution outlets, including audible.com and iTunes.
