DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Building on its tradition of offering operators great-tasting bakery, meat, coffee and tea products, Sara Lee Foodservice is introducing two new product lines which, along with other products, will help operators save money, increase margins and realize incremental sales.
Sara Lee Foodservice will showcase its Chef Pierre® pre-sliced pies and Jimmy Dean® All-Natural Breakfast Sausage, at the 2008 National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show (booth #1047) along with additional new products showcasing how Sara Lee Foodservice helps operators “feed their bottom line.”

New Chef Pierre pre-sliced pies offer the same great taste that makes Chef Pierre the most popular Foodservice pie and help operators reduce waste and labor without cutting a thing.
Chef Pierre pre-sliced pies offer operators thaw and serve convenience in seven delicious flavors: Dutch Apple, Pumpkin, Pecan, Sweet Potato, Nuts About Fudge, Pumpkin Pecan Praline and Seven Layer. The Chef Pierre Seven Layer pie was the winner of the 2008 American Pie Council’s National Pie Championships in its commercial gourmet category.
Jimmy Dean is introducing All-Natural Breakfast Sausage made with natural ingredients and no chemical preservatives, MSG or artificial flavors or colors added. Available cooked or raw, Jimmy Dean All-Natural Breakfast Sausage has all the traditional, pure pork flavor consumers love and help operators by meeting consumer’s demand for natural products and realizing increased margins through a consumer’s willingness to pay more for these items.
