Vurv Announces “enVision,” Ground-Breaking Customer Innovation Program

The program enables Vurv customers to test-drive new features and take advantage of new capabilities rapidly, in their own application instance without altering any source code. This program brings the benefits of software customization for innovative ideas and specific needs to the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model without the maintenance and cost drawbacks of actually customizing the core source code. The program leverages feedback from customers to help Vurv design and prioritize new enhancements and features.
With the understanding that not all customers are interested in exploring new features, Vurv developed the enVision program framework to be visible only to those organizations who elect to participate in the program. Participants have the ability to use new functionality, on a feature by feature basis, without having to wait for the next product release, an added benefit in today’s dynamic business environment. Customers also have the ability to roll-out changes to only select users, helping with user adoption and change management issues. With just a few clicks, new features can be turned on in participating customers’ on-demand environments.

Unlike other programs, enVision provides participants with more than just screenshots or a “sandbox” environment. Customers have the ability to sample new features in their specific instance of the Vurv offering. Examples of features customers can try include a visualization tool that shows streaming system usage, by location, on a map interface in real time; “actiVe mail”, a bi-directional email integration that enables users to manage their recruitment initiatives directly from their email inbox or mobile phone device without touching a web browser; and “smart search,” a proactive, streaming result list designed to reduce the amount of time and number of clicks required for a user to find a result by up to 50%. Participating in the program also enables customers to test out the value of emerging technologies such as social networking and SMS text messaging in a controlled environment.
